Eugene City Bakery, established on the southeast edge of the U of O campus area since 1997, is dedicated to the production of artisan breads, fine pastries, international savories, elegant desserts, and espresso drinks.

Using organic grains and flours, we bake our small batch, handcrafted breads and pastries fresh every day. Our artisan techniques are adapted from centuries old European methods, and our wild sourdough cultures have been lovingly nurtured by a generation of bakers. We support sustainable agricultural practices, and use local, organic products whenever possible. Our busy booth at the Eugene Farmer's Market, as well as our retail location at E 19th and Agate, attracts a loyal following of devoted food lovers.

Under new ownership as of March, 2008, Eugene City Bakery is currently expanding its menu to include a wide variety of lunch and light supper items, to enjoy on our outdoor seating or to take home. In addition to sandwiches and soups, we have a rotating variety of international style baked savories, such as empanadas, quiche, and spanakopita. For your late night sweet tooth, we have a stunning case of tempting desserts, and evening hours until 10 o'clock, Wednesday through Saturday. Whether you are looking for a dainty cookie or a decadent slice of chocolate torte, Eugene City Bakery can satisy your desserts cravings.
